Guest Book No guest book, or similar, facility is provided on this site -
primarily to prevent the harvesting of email addresses from this site for purposes of
unsolicited bulk email (spam). If you wish to try to contact a former
classmate, please visit the
Jarvis Bicentennial Project site.
Copyright Materials included in these reproductions were not copyrighted

To the best of our knowledge, they may be freely used.
Javascript These reproductions use
JavaScript to reduce the work involved in presenting the many pages of the original material.
Browsers with scripting disabled will not display site contents properly.
A simplified non-Javascript version of each issue is available
from the link on the Home page for that issue.
Browsers This site has been tested only with Internet Explorer version 6.0,
and Firefox version 1.5.
You may experience problems with some features
of this site if you are using an older version of a browser.
You may wish to consider
viewing the non-Javascript version (see, above).
Search A simple-mindedsearch facility
is provided, primarily to simplify locating individuals, by name, within the yearbook.
Typographical Errors Although every effort has been made to reproduce the
contents accurately, errors are inevitable due to the
limitations of the OCR (optical character recognition)
and VR (voice recognition) technologies used in the preparation of these materials.
Please note that
typographical errors in the original (and there are many!),
have also been reproduced. In the more egregious cases,
they are indicated by a [sic].
However, where the typo would affect a search on name
(assuming the webmaster was aware of the correct spelling) or where
a name appears in a graphic or is otherwise obscured from the search,
the actual name has been added to the page in braces [ ],
for the search process.
Fonts Headings in the 1963 issue of The Magnet were set
in an "Old English"
typeface. By default, headings will be displayed in the body text font.
If you prefer to have the headings approximate the original appearance,
see: About Old English Fonts.
