Thank you to everyone who responded to our online survey.
The result was a 50/50 split. As many subscribers preferred
to continue the current mailing list as preferred to migrate
to an online discussion group.
As a result, we've attempted to satisfy both preferences ...
1. Those of you content with the current mailing list solution
will be able to continue replying to (and initiating) email
messages, as you now do.
2. For those who preferring a web-based solution, an online
discussion group has now been established. You'll be able
to interact with this group through your browser, view old
postings, and even choose to receive a single email for all
postings for each day.

We've selected Google Groups to host the discussion group.
Over the next few days, all JCINostalgia@magnet65.org
subscribers will be set up as members of the new group.
However, Google Groups does limit the number of members
we can set up at one time (anti-spam measures).
1. If you receive an 'invitation' email, simply reply to
it to confirm your participation in the new group.
2. If you receive a 'welcome message', it will confirm
that you've been added to the group. These messages
will be going out Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week.

Once you've been added to the new Google Group ...
* You'll need do nothing further to continue participating
in JCINostalgia discussions through email.
* If you do wish to view the archives or change the way you
receive email notifications, you can do so through the online
group, but you will require a Google 'account'.
( If you already have a Google account, e.g. for Gmail,
YouTube, Picasa, &c., you'll be able to use that account
to log in to the discussion group. If you do not already
have a Google 'account' you can sign up for one. It's
quick, free, and no personal information is required.
You'll be prompted as soon as you try to log in to the
discussion group. )

During the 'transition' period, some members may receive
duplicate copies of postings. That is unavoidable, but
should not occur for more than 24 hours. Please bear with
us.
Once you've received your 'welcome' message, you can visit
